Our multiple berths equipped with different types and sizes of pipelines from jetty to tank farm, ensure safe and efficient handling of liquid products in big parcels. The tank farm at the port is capable of storing multiple types of liquid cargo including veg oil, chemicals and petroleum, oil & lubricants (POL) products. The infrastructure at the Liquid terminal ensures best in class storage, safe and contamination free handling of cargo for the customer.

Hazira port has vast infrastructures which handles multiple types of Cargo. With deep draft berths and multipurpose terminals, the port efficiently handles the largest bulk carriers in the world. The port has covered and open storage areas with enormous capacity. Excellent cargo evacuation and receiving infrastructure support smooth cargo movement in and out of the port.
Adani Hazira Port has multiple covered godown and open yards (GSB & Paved area) for storage of large volumes of cargo.
Liquid terminal has a tank-farm with 219 tanks with a total calibrated capacity of 620,000 KL starting at 650 Kl, 850 Kl,1100 Kl, 1580 Kl, 1850 Kl, 2150 Kl, 2470 Kl, 3220 Kl, 5650 Kl, and max 6800 Kl are available in various size configurations. Various tank types are available to handle various cargo types. Stainless steel tanks, cold-insulated tanks with refrigeration for low-temperature sensitive cargoes, heating coils with hot water facility for high-temperature sensitive cargoes, epoxy coating, etc.
Liquid Terminal is intended to handle Class A, B, C, and Excluded Petroleum products. The entire tank farm is equipped with enhanced safety features like Pressure transmitters (PT), Level transmitters (LT), Radar Gauge, and Multi-Stage Temperature sensors, which broadcast essential characteristics such as pressure, level and temperature in real-time. All body valves are pneumatically operated so it can be open & close from control room.
Each tank has a PV-Breather Valve, a Nitrogen Pressure Control Valve and Emergency Relief Valves. Mass Flow Meters and Batch Controllers are installed at each loading point for error-free loading.
Hazira Port has deep drafts, all weather and direct berthing facilities.
Hazira port has five operational berths viz. two nos. container berths and three multipurpose berths which can handle dry as well as liquid cargo.
Dedicated berth for liquid cargo is under construction and shall be ready for operations by the end of this financial year.
Hazira Port boasts superior support infrastructure which include 04 nos. Tugs and 01 no water injection dredger. These ensure uninterrupted and smooth operations 24x7 at the port.
Rail
Hazira Port is located near to the main broad gauge rail route between Delhi and Mumbai that caters to the key Delhi – JNPT container traffic. This rail route is double track, fully electrified and designed for fast trains. Hazira Port is about 20 KM from private siding operated by M/s. KRIBHCO which joins the Mumbai-Delhi. Efforts are currently underway to develop better rail connectivity to the port.
Road
NH 6 originates from Hazira Port and connects it to all other important roads in the vicinity (including NH 8 which is a part of the North - South section of the Golden Quadrilateral). Expansion to four / six lanes of all major feeder roads is currently on and transportation to and from Hazira will be greatly facilitated.
Air
Surat is serviced by an airport and is connected to the capital of India and key business linkages including Mumbai.
The terminal infrastructure at the port is capable of simultaneously handling multiple vessels of different class. For dry cargo, four nos. of shore cranes along with a large fleet of support equipment like excavators, pay loaders, dumpers etc ensure uninterrupted and smooth operations.
For liquid cargo pipelines of varying size and different types allows for fast discharge and loading of marine tankers.
